Aircraft Parking

The Nanaimo Flying Club offers aircraft parking to Members and Visitors alike.  We offer overnight and yearly commitments.  We do not offer monthly parking at this time.

NFC Members

Please contact our Parking Director for yearly tie-down or hangar accommodation, as available.
In order to equitably share our limited space, Members are asked to limit their (included) overnight ramp parking to XXX days per month.

Visitors / Transient

The Nanaimo Flying Club is a friendly place!  Daytime aircraft parking on our ramp is complimentary.  Overnight parking is subject to a nominal charge. Our fee schedule is posted on our clubhouse door. Cash can be deposited in the padlocked slot immediately inside the clubhouse.  Etransfers should be sent to: treasurer@nanaimoflyingclub.org

If you are staying overnight or leaving the airport property during a day-visit, please enter your contact details in the Registry Book, located immediately adjacent to the fuel purchase terminal in our clubhouse.  This is required so that we can contact you, if necessary.

Please park your aircraft behind the yellow lines on the North and South sides of our ramp.  (See diagram below).
The North visitor area is equipped with a tie-down cable, which you are encourged to use.
Ensure that no part of your aircraft transgresses into the Aircraft Operating Safety Area, marked by a yellow line at the east edge of our ramp. 

Commercial Aircraft

Aircraft operated on a commercial basis are subject to charges whenever using our facility, regardless of duration.  The fees are posted on our clubhouse door.  Please be aware that we attempt to be helpful to all operators but the NFC is not an FBO.  We do not supply passenger services of any kind.
Embarking/Disembarking passengers is entirely at your own risk.  NFC undertakes no responsibility for ramp conditions or any other risks.
